Yay for Old School X-men!!
Ok so my friend Kayla and some of her other friends where doing a X-men group at Otakon and she asked me if I wanted to join. And I said yes, of course! Truthfully I had never read the comics before (i've only seen the movies) so I asked Kayla which character I should do and she said Shadowcat. Yes, I was originally going to do Shadowcat, but that bodysuit was to complicated for me. So it was only 2 days before the con and I was looking for an easy character that I could do, because I really wanted to be part of that group. And then I remembered seeing Jubilee's picture and I thought to myself "I can do this!". So in the end I did her ^^

This costume was put together in basically one day. I used yellow cotton for the raincoat since I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I also had to buy a pattern and modify it a bit, but that was no problem.
The raincoat was made in like 3 hours because I was sort of confused on how to build the collar, but in the end I think I got it right. Then I just had to buy the shirt, shorts, sunglasses and belt (not pictured).
For the boots I had to paint my Larxene ones since I couldn't find some blue boots that I already had
Now as you can see I used dishwasher gloves for my jubilee gloves, why? Because I don't know how to make gloves and that was my only option. Since I was busy working on stuff I asked my mom to look for them and all she managed to find where gloved tha had blue on the top and yellow on the bottom. So she later spray-painted them. They lasted for a couple of minutes until they started to peel THEY LOOKED HORRIBLE!! Right after I changed out of the costume I threw those gloves away!
Now for the glasses what I did was just buy squared glasses, then I drew the shape of Jubilee's glasses on foam and glued them on.
And the wig I used was from my old Kyouya costume. I really need to get a new one that's actually black.

So yeah it was a really fun expirience to wear this costume. We got stopped for millions of pictures! It was defenitely a very interesting experience.
